Lars Oxfeldt Mortensen

Journalist, director, and producer.

I established my firm in 1994. As independent I have produced and directed a number of internationally acclaimed prize-winning documentaries about art, architecture, politics and science.

The clientele comprises of the main Danish broadcasters, the Danish Film institute, Ministry of Culture, The Red Cross, The Danish Cancer Society and various corporations.

Among others I have produced for broadcasters like La Sept ARTE, NRK, YLE, SVT, ARD, RTVE, VRT, Lichtpunt, RTP, TèléQuebec, CBC, ABC, The Discovery Channel.

In convenient short term periods I am hired as coach or editor on tv-series for other production companies.

Furthermore, I am called on as media consultant for institutions and corporations.

Through out the years I have held courses in communication and I have been coaching corporate leaders and politicians, and directed a number of corporate videos.

The film records ten years of effort by the small team in Copenhagen that, in the end, solved the mystery of how the Galaxy and the Sun interfere in our everyday weather.

Broadcasts: Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, France, Belgium, Australia, Poland, Greece, Italy, Israel, and will be aired on ARTE/ France 2009.
